Give your child the best opportunity to develop academically, spiritually and socially.
Mother Teresa Primary is a Catholic coeducational school that began to take shape in 2009. In response to a significant need for another Catholic primary school in Westmead, and with significant support from our neighbouring Sacred Heart Primary, we began the process of building our school and by 2012, were officially ready to move into our new premises.
In living out the values of Christ and the example of Mother Teresa, our school celebrates the uniqueness of each person within a diverse community and reaches out with compassion and dignity to those most in need.
We are committed to providing each student with a learning environment that is comprehensive, inclusive and challenging. Located in Westmead, we are a multicultural school which is inspired to care for others the way Mother Teresa did herself.
Reaching out with compassion and dignity
Mother Teresa Primary is a place of genuine care, concern and compassion. We are inspired to learn about Mother Teresa's work and apply her vision daily for a world where all people are treated with dignity and compassion.
Our school is essentially aimed at developing a spirit of hospitality; celebrating our faith, multiculturalism and achievements; reaching out to those in need, and valuing the dignity of each person.
Creative Minds, Gentle Hearts
At the heart of Mother Teresa Primary is our desire to live out our motto, Creative Minds, Gentle Hearts.
It is through this motto that we develop each child's mind and heart by giving them values to live by, an education tailored to his or her individual needs, a safe and well-resourced school environment, and an emphasis on active student engagement that embraces 21st century learning technology.
A 21st Century learning environment
Mother Teresa Primary is a place where curiosity, imagination and love of learning are treasured. Our school is full of great teachers working together to meet your child’s needs in flexible learning spaces. There are places for students to work together and for working independently. There are also places where the latest state-of-the-art technology and well-designed facilities support your child's learning.
Mother Teresa Primary is a community of learners, thinkers and helpers, and a safe place for your child to belong, make friends and be cared for.
